Completion Authorization

The completion authorization lets the contractor know that you have accepted the completed project and are approving final invoices for payment.

Only send this letter if you know the project is complete, not before.

If anything is still incomplete, refer back to the Construction – Denying Payment(s), and Construction – Project Punch List and continue from there.

Use the Certificate of Final Completion to give to each contractor as each completes their work on the project to release them from further work.
